Here at Mittel Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Clinic we use the latest soft tissue manipulation techniques and equipment that are available on the market these include the following to ensure that we can safely alleviate your pain or condition. Our treatment rooms are private, hygienic and comfortable, and our equipment is safe, well-maintained and of a high standard.

The main treatments that run alongside the sports massage and Debbie's specialised manipulation of the muscles are as follows, and are also explained on our treatments page along with the methods used:

Laser Treatment - Laser Therapy is a clinically proven treatment which is really effective for pain and inflammation. The Laser treatment we provide at Mittel is able to penetrate to deep tissue structures. It can treat a wide variety of both acute and chronic conditions.

Ultrasonic Waves - Therapeutic ultrasound. in all physical therapy is an alternating compression and rarefaction of sound waves with a frequency of 0.8 to 3.2 MHz. Maximum energy absorption into soft tissue occurs from 1.8 to 5.1 cm.

Infrared - Are Infrared Lamps effective at curing sports injuries? Can such a claim be too good to be true we’re asked. Light that comes from infrared lamps? How can light simply heal injuries? In controlled trials, patients with lower-back pain reported lower levels of pain after infrared treatment.

Our therapy includes these and many other treatments not listed above as the list would be endless. We liaise closely with you as the client, on the use of all of our treatments and explain them before and during the treatment process.

Mittel Sports Therapy Clinic also specialises in Sports Therapy for Children, who  often take sport very seriously and their no-fear attitude can unfortunately result in injuries.
We have successfully treated many children for injuries such as: sprained ankles, muscle tears, ligament damage, lower back pain, and growing pains like osgood, schlatters which causes a lot of pain within the knee and affects boys up to 18 years of age.
Treating your child early can help to ensure the issue doesn’t become a chronic problem.
